About SMa
Southern Medical Alliance (SMa) is a member-based regional network bringing together those who develop, produce and use medical equipment in the South of England. The organisation’s role is that of an enabling force, providing a forum for exchange of ideas and serving as a catalyst to help make the region a centre of excellence for healthcare technology and patient care. This process can and does involve entities outside Southern England, facilitating collaboration in both national and international markets.
Its principal funding comes from the South East England Development Agency, supported by the Business Link network.
